Create and join a group
Creating a group in the free social networking site is possible. The said groups are then divided into several categories. Members of the networking site have the option to join any group that he/she finds interesting. Joining a group can be done by clicking on the Groups link that can be usually found in the Home page. All group categories will then be displayed. Under the said categories, are even more categories or rather group names. A person can find out the number of members that a group has, date that the group was founded, and the name of the group in the lust of groups displayed. He/she can join a group by clicking on the Join link. Afterwards, he/she can view the other members' profiles, photos, topics, etc. once his/her membership gets approved. For some sites, a person can also send instant messages to other members.
At times, a person may choose to build his/her own group. However, some sites require that the person who wishes to have his own group, be a member for a certain number of days before he/she is allowed to create his/her own group. Lastly, that person also has the choice if he/she would like to delete or cancel a certain group that he/she has built. This action can usually be done by visiting the Edit Group page and then clicking on the Cancel button. A confirmation email must be approved before the process is completed.
