Registration for a free social networking site has, of course, no charged amount. Since almost everybody living today have their own email addresses, people can easily sign up for an account at any time. Like any actual application, the potential member has to bear the patience of filling out a basic information sheet, but there are certain liberties to this kind of registration. For instance, the person's given or first name is required, but the last name is not necessary. After agreeing to be subject to the site's regulations, the site would ask the person to complete a text box and send a mail to the person's email address for verification purposes. Once the user sends confirmation, his or her account becomes active in an instant. The individual is now a member of the site and is ready to create a profile.
